Owner & President
Ron Tewitz
Ron Tewitz joined Anvil Machine in 1989 as a machinist apprentice and journeyman welder, eventually taking ownership of the company in 1990 alongside his wife, Dolores. Over the last three decades, Ron has transitioned the shop from its manual roots into a high-precision CNC facility. By integrating advanced turning and milling technology, such as Weiler lathes, he has ensured the shop remains ahead of the curve in speed and repeatability. Ron’s leadership is defined by a commitment to a tidy, efficient workflow—meticulously organizing the production process from initial sawing to final phosphate coating to ensure every part reflects Anvil’s gold standard of quality.

Owner & COO
Brandon Tewitz
Brandon’s journey at Anvil Machine began in 2005, where he started from the ground up performing essential shop tasks before beginning his apprenticeship. After earning his journeyman machinist ticket at 21, his dedication and technical expertise led him to become the shop foreman in 2016 and an owner in 2021 alongside his wife, Chelsey. A lifelong Edmontonian, Brandon remains a hands-on leader who is still "on the tools" daily, mentoring the crew through complex projects. He takes particular pride in Anvil’s deep boring capabilities, utilizing specialized carbide and devibe bars to achieve depths that few other shops can master. This passion for precision extends to his life as an avid archer, a hobby he feels mirrors the manufacturing world, where success is built on the foundation of perfect repeatability and patience.

Purchasing & Quality Assurance Manager

As the lead for both Purchasing and Quality Assurance, Al ensures every project begins with a foundation of excellence by strictly vetting raw materials and maintaining deep-rooted supplier relationships. He specializes in navigating complex supply chains to secure the best materials for the shop floor, particularly for high-pressure rush jobs where precision and documentation are critical. Al values Anvil’s close-knit, family-run environment, where he focuses on the teamwork and accountability required to deliver a superior, reliable product to every customer.
